Born in New Zealand, Rachin has played 13 One Dayers, 18 T20 and 3 Tests. It is said that his
name is a combination of Rahul and Sachin, i.e. the first names of Rahul Dravid and Sachin
Tendulkar respectively, given by his father Ravi Krishnamurthy who was a big fan of the iconic
cricketers.
